Johnny Weir appeared as Grand Marshal of the L.A. Pride Parade on Sunday June 12, 2011 in West Hollywood, California.  Here are some pictures of Johnny and his appearance at the parade!  The parade was also carried live on West Hollywood Channel 10 and also via webcast.

During Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Johnny Weir attended several events.  September 13th he had just returned from Japan, and tweeted  he had missed the @CMBenz show due to a delay at the airport. He tweeted  later in the day he was planning to attend Alice and Olivia, Grey Ant and Dennis Basso the next day on September 14th.  He attended all three of those shows, tweeting several times about what he had seen at the shows and how excited he was to have been there.  On September 16th he tweeted he was preparing to attend the Isaac Mizrahi show.  Both the 14th and the 16th there were numerous tweets from various designers and bloggers regarding his presence at the various shows.  Most of the tweets were positive, and Johnny seemed to have been very popular and welcome at the shows, sitting in the front row at both the Mizrahi and Alice + Olivia shows.
