On Sunday January 30, 2011 Johnny Weir received his second Reader's Choice Figure Skater of the Year award from 'Skating' magazine.  The award is also know as the Michelle Kwan Trophy, and Weir is the only skater other than Kwan to receive the Reader's Choice Award more than once.  The award is voted on by fans, and for the 2010 award Weir received more votes than all the other eligible skaters combined.  The award was presented during the men's free skate at the 2011 U.S. Nationals figure skating championships held in Greensboro, North Carolina.  The presentation and subsequent interview was streamed live via IceNetwork.com to fans for free.

These flowers were presented to Johnny at the arena by a group of fans lead by my friend Robin.  This was one of at least three bouquets given to Johnny at the arena by fans; one of whom arranged to send her arrangement all the way from Australia.
