Johnny Weir at High Heel-A-Thon in NYC

Johnny Weir was a participant in the 2010 LIVE! With Regis and Kelly High Heel-A-Thon. The event took place in New York City on Wednesday, September 22nd. The event is a 150-yard dash in which the contestants strap on a pair of three inch or higher heels and race in support of The Heart of Truth Campaign and a chance to win some extravagant prizes. Prizes included a new 2011 Volkswagen Jetta and $10,000 in cash.  The second place winner received $5,000, and the third place winner $2500. 

In addition to hosting the event LIVE! donated $50,000 to the cause, which is supported by the National Institutes of Health.
